My name’s David, pronounced “dah-VEED,” but still spelled “David.”
There are lots of words I could use to describe myself, but one I like to use most is “creative.” I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and music has been one of the most influential art forms in my life. One thing is for certain – I love making music. I've had the honor of having my music in short films, while other times it’s been used for songwriting.
I’ve had many projects that excited and inspired me. My most ambitious one is my YouTube series, How It Should’ve Sounded, that analyzes and remakes video game music. The goal was initially to experiment with a video game soundtrack that I thought could use some improvements. It then grew into giving video games a fresh coat of paint and challenging my creative skills.
When I’m not cooking up new beats, you’ll likely catch me gaming, learning something new, or jumping down the rabbit hole of the YouTube content algorithm (…I do that waayy too often haha).
